1. Who we are

PropFirmPrime.com is an independent comparison and review platform for proprietary trading firms. We publish firm profiles, rule breakdowns, payout information, trader reviews, calculators and comparison guides. We are not a proprietary trading firm, a broker, an exchange, a fund or a financial adviser. We do not accept deposits, hold client money, execute trades or provide trading accounts.

The site is operated by Prop Firm Prime, a sole proprietorship based in Dwarka, Delhi, India. Where this policy says "we", "us" or "our", it refers to that business. We decide what personal data is collected on this site and why, which makes us the data controller under the UK and EU General Data Protection Regulation, and the data fiduciary under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023.

You can reach us at any time at support@propfirmprime.com. We handle all privacy questions from that address.

2. What this policy covers

This policy applies to propfirmprime.com and any subdomain we operate. It explains what we collect, why we collect it, who else sees it, how long we keep it and what you can do about it.

It does not apply to:

• Websites belonging to the prop firms we list, including when you reach them by clicking a link on our site. Each firm has its own privacy policy and we have no control over it.
• Social media profiles, video channels or messaging platforms where we may have a presence. Those platforms govern your data on their own terms.
• Anything you do inside a trading platform, broker portal or firm dashboard.

The moment you leave our domain, the destination's policy applies to you instead of ours. Section 28 covers this in more detail.

3. Information you give us directly

Most of this site works without you giving us anything at all. You can read every firm profile, comparison and guide without an account and without submitting a single detail. We only receive information from you when you choose to do one of the following.

Contact form

When you send us a message we collect the name you enter, your email address, and whatever you write in the message. We need the email address to reply. If you are reporting a problem with a firm we list — a refused payout, a rule that changed without notice, a support failure — we also keep a record of that report so we can investigate the firm and update our listing.

Review submissions

When you submit a review of a prop firm we collect your display name, email address, star ratings, the written review, and the firm you are reviewing. We do not ask you to upload account screenshots, payout proof or statements, and you should never send us those. If a firm challenges your review we may email you to ask for context, but we will never ask for account credentials or financial documents.

Blog comments

When you comment on an article we collect the name and email address you enter, the comment itself, your IP address and your browser user agent string. The IP and user agent go to our spam filter and are explained in section 8.

Email updates

If you subscribe to updates we collect your email address and, optionally, your first name. We record the date you subscribed and the page you subscribed from, which is what proves your consent was given.

What we never collect

4. Information collected automatically

Like almost every website, our servers and our analytics tool record some technical information whenever a page loads. This happens without you typing anything.

• IP address. Used for security, rate limiting and blocking abuse, and to work out roughly which country you are in so we can show relevant currency and firm availability.
• Device and browser information. Browser name and version, operating system, screen size and device type, so pages render correctly and so we can find layout faults.
• Pages viewed and referring source. Which pages you opened, how long you stayed, which site or search engine sent you, and which links you clicked. This tells us which comparisons people actually need.
• On-site searches. Terms you type into our search or filter tools, so we can see which firms and features people look for and cannot find.
• Server logs. Standard web server records of requests, timestamps, status codes and errors.

Analytics collection depends on your cookie choice. Server and security logging is essential to running the site and cannot be switched off, but it is kept for a short period and is not used to build a profile of you.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. We group ours into four categories.

• Strictly necessary. Security checks, load balancing, and remembering the cookie choice you made. These are required for the site to function and cannot be disabled.
• Preferences. Remembering your filter settings, currency and any comparison selections so you do not have to reset them on every page.
• Analytics. Google Analytics 4, used to measure traffic in aggregate. Off until you accept.
• Affiliate and attribution. Set by prop firms and their affiliate systems when you click through to them, so the firm knows the referral came from us. Explained fully in section 12.

When you first visit, a consent banner lets you accept all, reject all, or choose categories. Nothing beyond the strictly necessary category runs until you make that choice. You can change your decision at any time using the cookie settings link in our footer.

You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Every major browser has instructions in its help section. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working.

6. Google Analytics and Search Console

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used. It sets cookies that assign your browser a random identifier and records the pages you view, roughly how long you spend, your approximate location, and the type of device you are using. We use it to see which firm pages and comparison guides are working and which are failing readers.

We have IP anonymisation enabled, meaning your full IP address is truncated before it is stored. We have not enabled Google Signals or advertising personalisation, so your activity here is not used to target ads to you elsewhere. Analytics runs only if you accept analytics cookies.

Google acts as our data processor for Analytics. Google's own handling of this data is governed by its privacy policy, which you can read at policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of Google Analytics on every website by installing Google's browser add-on from tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

We also use Google Search Console, which reports on how our pages appear in search results. Search Console gives us aggregate data only — search terms, impressions, click counts and average positions. It never identifies individual users and does not place cookies on your device.

7. Cloudflare and Hostinger

Our site is hosted by Hostinger and delivered through Cloudflare, a content delivery and security network. Both process data on our behalf under contract.

Cloudflare sits between your browser and our server. It caches pages so they load faster, filters malicious traffic, and blocks denial-of-service attacks. To do this it processes your IP address and request details, and may set a strictly necessary cookie to identify trusted traffic and distinguish humans from bots. This cookie carries no information that identifies you personally and is not used for analytics or advertising.

Hostinger stores our website files, database and email, and keeps standard server access logs.

8. Akismet and spam filtering

We use Akismet to stop spam in blog comments and form submissions. When you submit a comment or a form, Akismet receives the content you wrote, the name and email you entered, your IP address, your browser user agent, and the page you submitted from. It checks this against its database of known spam patterns and returns a verdict.

This is necessary — without it, an affiliate site in the trading niche is buried in scam comments within days. Akismet is operated by Automattic and processes data under its own privacy policy at automattic.com/privacy. Submissions flagged as spam are held briefly for review and then deleted.

9. Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content such as videos, charts or social media posts. Embedded content behaves exactly as if you had visited the other website directly. Those sites may collect data about you, set their own cookies, and track your interaction with the embedded material, including if you have an account and are logged in to them.

We have no control over what embedded providers collect. Where our cookie banner allows it, we block embeds until you consent.

10. How we use your information

We use what we collect only for the following purposes.

• Delivering the site. Serving pages, remembering preferences, keeping the site online and fast.
• Responding to you. Answering questions, investigating complaints about listed firms, handling correction and deletion requests.
• Publishing and moderating reviews. Checking submissions are genuine, removing abuse and fake entries, and giving firms a right of reply.
• Improving what we publish. Using aggregate analytics to find which firm profiles, filters and guides are useful and which need rewriting.
• Sending updates you asked for. Only where you subscribed.
• Affiliate attribution. Recording that a click originated here so the commission that funds the site is credited correctly.
• Security and fraud prevention. Blocking bots, scrapers, fake reviews and abusive traffic.
• Meeting legal obligations. Tax and accounting records, and responding to lawful requests from authorities.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with prop firms for their marketing. We do not use it for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you.

11. Legal bases for processing

If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, we must have a lawful basis for every use of your data. Ours are:

• Consent — analytics cookies, affiliate and marketing cookies, embedded third-party content, and email updates. You give consent through the cookie banner or a subscription form, and you may withdraw it at any time without affecting processing already carried out.
• Legitimate interests — essential server logging, security and anti-abuse measures, spam filtering, affiliate attribution, and understanding aggregate site usage. We have weighed these against your rights and consider the privacy impact minimal, since none of it is used to profile or target you.
• Legal obligation — retaining financial records and responding to lawful requests.

Where we rely on legitimate interests you have the right to object, and we will stop unless we can show compelling grounds that override your interests. See section 21.

12. Affiliate links, discount codes and how we earn

PropFirmPrime.com is free to use and carries no advertising. We are funded by affiliate commission: when you click through to a prop firm from our site and buy an evaluation or challenge, that firm may pay us a percentage. Our discount codes work the same way — the code identifies us as the referrer.

This has a privacy consequence you should understand. When you click an outbound link or use one of our codes, the destination firm's own affiliate system records that the referral came from us, usually by setting a cookie in your browser or attaching an identifier to the link. That processing is carried out by the firm under its own privacy policy, not ours.

We run affiliate relationships directly with each firm rather than through a large network. What we receive back is aggregate reporting only: how many clicks, sign-ups and sales came from our site. We never receive your name, email address, payment details, account balance or trading activity from any firm. We cannot see who bought what.

13. Reviews you submit

If you submit a review of a prop firm, assume the following will be published and visible to anyone: your display name, your star ratings, the written review, the firm reviewed, and the approximate date. Your email address is never published. We use it only to verify the submission is not automated, to contact you if a firm disputes what you wrote, and to confirm a removal request comes from you.

Please do not include personal details in the review text itself — your full name, account number, phone number, or the name of an individual support agent. We may edit or remove such details before publishing.

We moderate every review before it goes live. We remove submissions that are abusive, defamatory, obviously fabricated, submitted in bulk, or written by a firm about itself or a competitor. We do not remove a review simply because a firm dislikes it.

You can ask us to delete your review at any time by emailing support@propfirmprime.com from the address you used to submit it. We will remove it within 30 days. Note that if your review has been quoted in an article or cached by a search engine, we can remove it from our site but cannot control third-party copies.

14. Blog comments

Comments on our articles are public. Your display name and comment text are visible to all visitors. Your email address is not shown publicly, though it may be passed to Akismet as described in section 8, and it may be used to display an avatar image if you use a gravatar service.

Comments and their metadata are retained indefinitely so that follow-up replies stay readable in context. You can request deletion of your comments at any time.

15. Email updates and alerts

Our email list is opt-in only. We add you only when you actively subscribe, and we record the date and page of your subscription as proof of consent. We do not buy email lists and we do not add people who contacted us through the support form.

We use Hostinger Mail to send messages. We send new firm reviews, significant rule or payout changes at firms we cover, and occasional discount notifications. Every email contains an unsubscribe link that works immediately. You can also unsubscribe by replying to any message or emailing support@propfirmprime.com.

After you unsubscribe we keep a minimal suppression record — your email address and the fact you opted out — so that we do not accidentally add you again. You can ask for that record to be erased too.

16. Calculators and comparison tools

Our calculators — drawdown, profit split, position sizing and similar — run entirely in your browser. The numbers you enter are processed on your own device and are never transmitted to our servers, never stored, and never seen by us. Closing or refreshing the page clears them.

We may record, through analytics, that a calculator was used and which one, but never the values you entered.

17. Who we share information with

We do not sell personal information, and we never share it with prop firms for their own marketing. We do use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf under contract and may not use it for their own purposes:

• Hostinger — website hosting, database storage and email delivery
• Cloudflare — content delivery, caching and security filtering
• Google — analytics measurement (Google Analytics 4) and search performance reporting (Search Console)
• Automattic — spam filtering through Akismet

Beyond these, we may disclose information where we are legally required to do so, where it is necessary to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim, or where the business is sold or restructured — in which case we will notify you before your data becomes subject to a different policy.

18. International data transfers

We are based in India. Some of our service providers store or process data in other countries, including the United States and the European Union.

Where personal data of UK or EEA residents is transferred outside those regions, we rely on the safeguards our providers have in place: the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or an adequacy decision covering the destination. Google, Cloudflare and Automattic each publish their transfer arrangements in their own policies.

Data of Indian residents may be processed outside India in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 and any restrictions notified by the Central Government.

You may request details of the specific safeguard applied to a transfer by emailing us.

19. How long we keep information

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, or as long as the law requires.

• Contact form messages — 12 months, unless the message relates to an ongoing dispute with a listed firm, in which case we keep it until resolved
• Server and security logs — 30 days
• Google Analytics data — 14 months, after which it is automatically deleted by Google
• Published reviews and comments — until you ask us to remove them, or until we determine they are false
• Email subscription records — until you unsubscribe, plus a minimal suppression record afterwards
• Financial and accounting records — 7 years, as required by Indian tax law

Once a period ends we delete the data or irreversibly anonymise it so that it can no longer identify you.

20. How we protect information

We serve the entire site over HTTPS with a valid certificate. Access to our hosting, database and email is protected by strong unique passwords and two-factor authentication. We keep our platform and plugins patched, we restrict administrative access to the minimum number of people, and we route traffic through Cloudflare's security filtering.

No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection. If a breach occurs that is likely to result in a risk to your rights, we will notify the relevant authority within the period the law requires — 72 hours under the GDPR, and without delay to the Data Protection Board of India under the DPDP Act — and we will tell affected users directly where required.

21. Your rights under the GDPR

If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area you have the following rights over your personal data:

• Access — obtain a copy of the data we hold about you and information about how we use it
• Rectification — have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected
• Erasure — have your data deleted where we no longer have a valid reason to keep it
• Restriction — have us pause processing while an accuracy or objection dispute is resolved
• Portability — receive data you gave us in a structured, machine-readable format, or have it sent to another provider
• Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to direct marketing at any time
• Withdrawal of consent — withdraw consent whenever you like, without affecting processing already carried out
• Complaint — lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority

To exercise any of these, email support@propfirmprime.com. We respond within one month and there is no charge. We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting, to make sure we are not disclosing your data to someone else.

If you are in the UK you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. If you are in the EEA you may complain to the supervisory authority in your country of residence.

22. Your rights in the United States

If you live in California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana or another state with a comprehensive consumer privacy law, you have the right to:

• Know what categories of personal information we collect, why, and who receives it
• Access a copy of the specific information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate personal information
• Delete personal information we hold about you
• Opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information, and of targeted advertising
• Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights — we will not degrade the site or charge you differently
• Appeal a decision, if we decline a request

We do not sell personal information as that term is defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not knowingly collect or share the personal information of anyone under 16.

We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by California law — no government identifiers, financial account details, precise geolocation, racial or ethnic origin, health data, or contents of your private communications.

To make a request, email support@propfirmprime.com with "Privacy Request" in the subject line. We respond within 45 days and may extend once where the request is complex. You may use an authorised agent, in which case we will ask for written proof of authorisation. If we decline your request you may appeal by replying to our decision, and we will respond to the appeal within 60 days.

23. Your rights in India

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, we act as a Data Fiduciary and you are a Data Principal. You have the right to:

• Access a summary of the personal data we process about you and the processing activities involved
• Correction, completion, updating and erasure of your personal data
• Nominate another individual to exercise your rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity
• Grievance redressal — raise a complaint with us and receive a response before approaching the Data Protection Board
• Withdraw consent at any time, as easily as you gave it

You also have duties under the Act: not to impersonate another person when giving data, not to suppress material information, and not to file false or frivolous grievances.

Our grievance officer can be reached at support@propfirmprime.com. We acknowledge grievances within 7 days and aim to resolve them within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India.

24. Your rights in Canada

If you are in Canada, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act gives you the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to challenge its accuracy and have it corrected, and to know how it is used and disclosed. You may withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice.

Our commercial email practices follow Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation: we send marketing email only with express consent, we identify ourselves clearly, and every message carries a working unsubscribe mechanism that we honour within 10 business days.

Requests go to support@propfirmprime.com. If you are unsatisfied with our response you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

25. Your rights in Australia

If you are in Australia, the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles give you the right to access the personal information we hold about you and to request correction of anything inaccurate, out of date, incomplete or misleading. We will respond within a reasonable period and will not charge for making a request.

If you believe we have breached an Australian Privacy Principle, contact us first at support@propfirmprime.com and we will investigate and respond within 30 days. If you remain dissatisfied you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

26. Age restriction

This site covers proprietary trading, which involves financial risk and is restricted to adults. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

You must be at least 18 years old to submit a review, post a comment, or subscribe to our emails. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

27. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Browsers implement Do Not Track inconsistently and no common standard was ever agreed, so we do not respond to DNT headers.

We do honour the Global Privacy Control signal. If your browser or an extension sends GPC, we treat it as a valid opt-out of any sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising, in line with California law and the laws of other states that recognise it.

28. Links to prop firm websites

This site is built around outbound links. When you follow one you leave PropFirmPrime.com, and the destination's privacy policy and terms replace ours. We have no control over what those firms collect, how they use it, how long they retain it, or how they secure it, and we are not responsible for their practices.

Before buying an evaluation, read the destination firm's terms, trading rules, payout policy and privacy policy yourself. Rules change frequently in this industry, and what we publish reflects our research at the time of writing.

29. No financial advice

Everything on PropFirmPrime.com is published for information only. Nothing here is financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and nothing here is a recommendation to buy any product from any firm.

Trading carries substantial risk. Evaluation fees are usually non-refundable, most traders fail challenges, and firms can and do change their rules, adjust profit splits or cease operating. Do your own research and never risk money you cannot afford to lose.

30. Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our practices, our service providers or the law change. The effective date at the top of the page always reflects the current version.

If a change materially affects your rights, we will post a notice on the site and, where we hold your email address and the law requires it, tell you by email. We keep previous versions and can supply one on request. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
