Instant funding, explained
You pay a one-time fee and receive a funded account immediately, with no evaluation phase and no profit target to clear first. The account is usually simulated, and the drawdown, consistency and payout rules apply from your first trade.
It is faster, not easier. Instant programs remove the profit target but generally tighten everything else. Across the programs on this page, drawdown floors run from 3% to 6%, several use trailing rather than static floors, and most add a consistency rule the evaluation account at the same firm does not have.
You are buying the account rather than the right to attempt one. The useful number is cost per dollar of funded capital, not the sticker price. A $218 account at $25,000 costs roughly 0.9% of the capital, while a $99 account at $2,000 costs almost 5%.
It is the set of conditions standing between profit on the screen and money in your account: consistency scores, minimum profitable days, profit cushions that lock your first gains, and withdrawal caps. Every program on this page has at least one, which is why we list it on the card.
Goat Funded Trader is the clearest case among the forex programs. Everywhere else on this page a consistency rule applies in some form, so check what percentage of total profit your single best day is allowed to be before you buy.
Usually not. Tradeify states plainly that Lightning accounts cannot be reset and a new account must be purchased. Since instant accounts cost three to five times an evaluation, a breach is a far more expensive mistake here than on a challenge.
Less often than on evaluations. FundingPips prohibits news trading on Zero while allowing it on its other models, OFP Funding prohibits EAs and pre-built scripts, and Instant Funding restricts both. Confirm your platform and your strategy in writing before paying.
It makes sense if you already have a repeatable edge and the evaluation is only a delay. It rarely makes sense if you fail evaluations, because the same rules that end a challenge will end a more expensive instant account, with no reset and no second phase to recover in.
